Regardless of whether students are geared toward remediation or
enrichment after school and extended day programs are needed more than
ever. With the pressure of standardized tests and the challenge of serving an
increasingly diverse student population makes it essential that after-school
and extended-day programs deliver their promise of improving student
achievement. Our reading and math targeted intervention programs are
designed for improving academic achievements and mastery of state
standardized testing.

OF LEARNING
Our Mission

    Our mission is to successfully
    mentor, teach,and motivate learners
that are responsible for their own
    learning, students that are curious
and inquisitive, able to define their
    own learning goals and evaluate
their own achievements. We want to
    produce learners that are energized
by their learning, and their joy of
learning leads them to a lifelong
    passion for solving problems,

How Can I Know If My Child
Needs A Tutor?

  • Monitor your child weekly. Talk to
    him/her about their classes. Always
look at their homework, test and quiz
    grades, along with academic progress
    reports and report cards. Some
schools give access to your students
    grades through the school's website.
Find out from His/her teacher how
    this works.

  • Take notice of your child's attitude
    and behavior. Are their negative
    changes in his/her behavior pattern,
such as a lack of confidence or
motivation, a lack of interest in
    school, low self-esteem, or avoiding
    getting home work done?

  • Keep in contact with your child's
    teacher, scheduling regular
    conferences. Ask the teacher about
    your child's grades, academic
    performance and classroom behavior.
The teacher can tell you whether or
not your child is having difficulty in
school and which subjects he may
    need some extra help in.

  • Is your child coming up with reasons
to stay home from school? For
    example, he/she may constantly say
that they are sick or does not feel
well. Although, there can be other
reasons, perhaps your child wants to
stay home because he/she is doing
poorly in class and don't want to face
    his/her peers and teacher(s).

  • Look for potential problems, your
child may be having difficulty with
the basic skill levels for his/her age
group. If your child cannot master
    fundamental skills for his/her grade
level, this is a sign that he/she  needs
    a tutor.
